Eva Bach

Long before joining Hands-on Server Support, Eva was hooked on the idea of having private kindergarten or school. She wanted to study pediatrics and work with kids. She made a major pivot later on, and instead of becoming a doctor, she decided to become a doctor of science. She applied for a Ph.D. in Information and Communication Technologies and is currently working on her Cybersecurity and Digital Intelligence thesis.

Eva found a practical application to her studies when joining our team in October 2020 as an IT intern. After a couple of months in the Linux department, AnaMarija Jazvic suggested Eva to become a part of a Sales department, where Eva could capitalize on her in-born communication skills and her ability to talk to different types of people. As a Sales Lead, Eva proves that her natural skills were put to good use. She ensures her customers and teammates are happy and that the Sales department shares the same vibe.

When the sales goals are met, the team is raving, when doesn’t, they don’t despair and indulge in funny little rituals such as the summoning of the sale or putting a sales attraction spells. Eva learned not to act on her emotions and approach problems with a cool head. She also reminds herself and her team that every problem is solvable, and if it is not figureoutable, it is not a problem, it is a fact, and they can’t change facts.

In 2023 Eva looks forward to generating more revenue and positive energy within the team, sales growth, and the number of new teammates. Eva travels a lot to maintain her energy level to achieve her goals and just recently came back from Malta. She is also good at turning off the outside world by reading or hanging out with friends or family.
